Morocco Building Collapse Death Toll Climbs to 15 in Fez
The six-story structure, which contained 11 apartments — eight of them occupied at the time — came down in the early hours of Thursday in the densely populated Ain Nokbi neighborhood, located in the city's southern district, according to the news agency.
Rescue teams pulled 13 bodies from the debris, while two additional victims succumbed to their injuries after being rushed to a local hospital, the agency said.
Judicial police have launched a formal investigation to establish what caused the building to collapse.
