Prime Minister Golob receives Foreign Affairs Minister Bourita

SLOVENIA, April 18 - Their talks focused mainly on exchanging views about opportunities for strengthening bilateral relations. Energy and renewable resources hold considerable potential for cooperation. Morocco could also represent the EU’s central point of entry for the entire African continent, especially Central and West Africa.

Prime Minister Golob and Minister Bourita also agreed that there was great potential for strengthening relations between the two countries, boosted further by the upcoming opening of mutual embassies. The Prime Minister also highlighted the importance of the Southern Mediterranean for the EU as a whole. Slovenia, which this year took over the presidency of the MED9 group, is striving to find new approaches to further strengthen the relationship between the EU and its Southern neighbours.
